Maintenance Technician Apprentice

Engineered Systems in Archdale, NC is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician Apprentice. This is an incredible opportunity to kick-start your career in skilled maintenance and build your skills while working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist maintenance technicians in performing equipment inspections to identify maintenance needs
• Learn to troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems on cranes and hoists
• Learn to use and maintain hand and power tools correctly and safely
• Follow strict safety standards and protocols
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Communicate effectively with team members and superiors

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance record
• Ability to lift, push/pull 50labs routinely and work in hot environments
